Code of Conduct:
1. Absenteeism (including cutting of class) unexcused or excessive will result in warning, parent notification, and detention.
2. Falsely accusing another student to be in violation of the Student Code of Conduct intentionally can result in suspension of 10-180 days.
3. Alcoholic beverages on school grounds or driving an automobile while consuming alcohol will result in a minimum of suspension from school for the remainder of the year to the maximum of permanent expulsion.
4. Student pets are to be confined to dormitories at all times and are not to be kept in learning facilities.
5. Weapons and drugs will be confiscated immediately and juvenile detention centers will be notified. Minimum is the suspension for the remainder of the year to maximum of permanent expulsion.
6. Bullying, including but not limited to, aggressive behavior toward another which may include assault, punching, poking, strangling, hair pulling, beating, biting, and excessive tickling. Emotional bullying; rejecting, shunning, terrorizing, humiliating, blackmailing, manipulating friendships, and applying peer pressure, put downs, threatening looks, gestures, or actions. Verbal bullying; hurtful name calling, teasing, gossip, rumors, false accusations, and cyber-bullying via electronic media. Sexual bullying; exhibition, voyeurism, sexual propositioning, sexual harassment, sexual abuse, and sexual assault. Minimum of short term suspension of 10 days or less to maximum of expulsion.
7. No boys in girls dorms after 8 PM and vice versa.
8. Cheating and/or plagiarism will result in minimum of receiving no credit for the assignment to maximum of suspension from 11-180 days.
9. Destruction of school property or property of another (ex. writing on walls) results in a minimum of detention to a maximum of permanent expulsion.
10. Failure to report to detention will result in suspension.
11. Disobedience, defiance, and/or disrespectful behavior toward a school faculty member results in a minimum of 10 day suspension.
12. Forgery of a parent or guardian's signature will result in minimum suspension of 10 days or less.
13. Obscene language or gesture, including "mooning" or other indecent exposure will result in a minimum of short-term suspension of 10 days or less to a maximum long-term suspension of 11-180 days.
14. Smoking or using tobacco; and the possession of any tobacco product regardless of age of student will result in minimum of short-term suspension of 10 days or less to maximum suspension for the remainder of the year.
15. Sleeping in class will result in a warning or suspension of 10 days or less.
16. Theft, attempted theft, robbery, attempted robbery, possession of and/or receiving stolen property will result in minimum short-term suspension of 10 days or less to maximum of permanent expulsion.
17. Any violation with this handbook, the Student Code of Conduct, or federal law will result in minimum of warning to permanent expulsion.
18. All Students must be in rooms by 9 pm and stay until 6 am. No men in women's dorms or vice versa.
19. DO NOT USE YOUR POWERS AGAINST STUDENTS AND/OR PROFESSORS!
